With only 2 units of RAM to install, ASRock specifies that the A2 and B2 DIMM slots be populated first. This leaves the DIMM slot nearest to the CPU socket unoccupied.

Without having the components to measure, I can't gaurentee that you will be able to add RAM in that closest spot in the future but you will be able to use this cooler.

I would not recommend that memory if you plan to use the fan kit, go with a low profile memry kit so you have no issues with the hyper 212.

or just stick the fan on the other side of the heatsink & have it pulling air instead of pushing.

These would most likely work for your system, Crucial Ballistix Sport 4GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Low Profile Desktop Memory Model BLS4G3D1609ES2LX0 , This memory is listed at 1.35 volts make sure your motherboard can adjust for that, otherwise check on crucial website for memory that is compatible for the motherboard you plan to use.
