I see that 2400 DDR ram is cheaper than 2100. What's the difference and can I use 2400 with my ECS K7S5a?

What it really all boils down to is the 2100 DDR uses a FSB of 133mhz, and the 2400 uses a FSB 150. It won't make all that much difference, because you're not overclocking your PCI/AGP. Maybe 2.5%, but I'm just geussing (not guessing) here...

Unless you overclock, it will make no difference whatsoever.

So what's PC1600? A FSB of 100? I just wanna make sure, cuz I'm planning on buying and putting <A HREF="http://forumz.tomshardware.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=faq¬found=1&code=1" target="_new">this computer</A> together.

Yes
BTW, if you get the Volcano 6u from <A HREF="http://www.coolerguys.com" target="_new">CoolerGuys</A>, it's only $10, and they donate the whole $10 to the Red Cross.
