Can I use a USB video out with Nvidia Surround?

Hey guys,

I have dual GTX 580s and I want to add a 4th monitor to my rig but have no PCIe slots open. One possibility I can think of is to use one of those USB to DVI adapters and attach my 4th monitor in that way.

Will this work with Nvidia surround? Anyone try it before?

Thanks,

The USB to DVI is not really an "adapter", it's a cheap video card that runs off the USB port. The Nvidia controls won't work with that card but you can run a 4th monitor to it.

I'd love to but their forum was hacked and has been down for a month now... :)
