I am looking for update my computer before i go into college because I think I might need to...Although its more for gaming XD
Anyway, at the moment I have the FX-4100 3.6 GHZ. Now I was looking for upgrade the processor to maybe AMD (Trinity) A10-5800K Black Edition Quad-Core 3.8 GHZ but I am not to sure whether I will witness much of a difference Thank you. If it helps to anyone I have a XFX 7770 card which I might crossfire with another one depending on money but thats just a little information i wanted to add in. If i did this what motherboard should i get because at the moment i have gigabyte M68MT-S2 with only one pci slot so if you would suggest one that would be grand that you.

The A10-5800K will not be an upgrade, the FX-4100 doesn't bottleneck your current card, so what you need is a better card if you want more fps.
You have to get a new motherboard for the FX-6300, it doesn't support the FX-6300, if you want to.

Your motherboard does not support AMD's new line of processors, so the best CPU you can get right now is the FX 8120, which for gaming won't be a significant upgrade over your FX 4100.
