I'm not really sure where to post this but I figured Sound Cards was the best place because it is somewhat of a sound issue. I recently purchased a new GPU (ASUS GTX 660 2GB) and whenever I go into a game I get a ripping/tearing/static noise through my headphones. I had this same problem with my old GPU (Zotac GTS 450), it wasn't this bad but it slowly dissipated after a few days. It only happens when I am in game. It doesn't happen when I am in the main menu or the pause menu of games. My headphones are also currently plugged into the front of my case.
