Whats the processor that you are using right now? whats the motherboard model? Go into start>Run>type dxdiag> copy paste it here, then go to display tab and copy paste that too. From what i know of the GX620, it usually comes with a pentium D, having said that you can easily upgrade to a better core 2 duo but not the ones with the 1333MHz bus speed. The e7xxx/e6xxx/e5xxx/e2xxx series would make a good upgrade. Search your motherboard for a pci express slot. Im sure you know what that looks like, if it has one then tell us your price range and we'll suggest a graphics card.

From what I read online I think your motherboard supports up to a Pentium D 840 which is dual-core 3.2GHz. If your in the US, one on Ebay is about $15
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Intel-Pentium-D-Processor-840-2...

Make sure to update your BIOS before installing also (if possible).

EDIT: Do you have the DT or MT version?
DT http://i.dell.com/images/global/products/optix/gx_dt_front_314x314.jpg
MT http://i.dell.com/images/global/products/optix/gx_mt_front_314x314.jpg

The MT may support atleast a Core 2 Duo 6300, someone else is running that setup.

mt the skinny one

i mean the mt

Its a 945 chipset guys it can take a low end core 2 duo. Even a e5400 would do great in there. but update the bios first they shouldn't be hard to find.. Its a small form factor pc you're gonna have to get a low profile pci express card. The best low profile budget card in the market right now is the HD7750 coupled with a e5xxx it shouldn't be much of a bottleneck.
