Hello,
What kind of configuration will be required for WorkStation pC for graphic designers processing big size images and files

Well, without an application list, and trying to cover all bases, I'd use an i7-3770k (hyperthreading) in a nce overclocking MoBo (i.e. Asus Sabertooth Z77), w/ minimum of 16 GB (preferably 32 GB) of RAM, nVidia GFX (CUDA), Tier 1 SSD (i.e Mushkin Chronos Deluxe) and Seagate Barracuda XT's for file storage and a nice big CPU cooler (i.e Phanteks) for big OC.

I do heaps of Solidworks and 3D designs. Check out my build info.

If you more into video encoding, then you should invest in a better graphics card.

This all depends on you budget. Mine was ~1700. If you can spend more, then Xeons and Quadros make a lot of sense.
