Hello,i want to buy amd radeon 7770, but i am not sure if my system is good enough for modern games, following is my system spec:
cpu: intel core 2 quad Q9300 (2.5ghz)
gpu: nvidia 9500 gt(512mb ram)
hard disk:seagate 500 gb
ram: 2gb DDR2 (800mhz)
OS:window 7 (32bit)

so, will upgrading my gpu to 7770 be good enough to play most modern games in high to ultra-high settings

I would upgrade your RAM as well, as most people use about 8gb and get Windows 7 64bit or stay with 32bit and get 4gb RAM
GPU is fine
What is your motherboard?

Well, 4gb ram is enough ram for a gaming computer. 8gb is honestly kind of over kill and is just for longevity at this point.

i have intel DP35DP(media series) motherboard, and also i have heard that windows 7(32bit) only uses 3 gb ram and anything over it would be a waste, is that correct?
