More about thoughts build
  1. If you are afraid that the ram won't fit then I would get low profile ram like this
I also would get that case, I just think it is way to much, and you could spend that money you save on better parts or even save it.
I would also get this mobo
It is only $128 and can do sli, it has 2 pcie 3.0 slots which is actually better than what the asus one is and I personally think the asus one is a rip off. I think everything else looks good. Also make sure you want that cpu cooler, because it is only really necessary if you are gonna be doing some serious overclocking.
  2. If you are only planning on 2 way SLI do you really need the Maximus V? You can save some money there. Also, I thought it was E-ATX which is larger and may not fit in the case. However, I am not familiar with the storm stryker.

The GTX 670 is great. The MSI Power Edition will be a better overclocker than the Gigabyte and is worth a look.

Other than that, it looks like a great build. Have fun
  3. Jay-z is right about the asus board being e-atx.
  4. They stryker can fit an e atx, any recommendations for which mobo and the reason im getting that gtx is for the cooling my room and pc's get hot very quickly.

Edit: it is also tomshardware recommended buy.
  5. A bigger case does not necessarily mean better cooling. You need high air flow. The Asus Sabertooth Z77 would be more appropriate. Standard ATX, excellent overclocking and cheaper than the Maximus. The MSI twin frozr IV should have no problems cooling at all but that Gigabyte 670 is fine.
  6. $149.00
    CoolerMaster HAF XM Case $149.00
    Silverstone Strider Plus 750W ST75F-P 80 PLUS Silver 100% modular $145.00
    ASRock Z77 Extreme4 Motherboard $235.00
    Intel Core i5 3570K $36.00
CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler $45.00
    G.Skill Ares F3-1600C9D-8GAO 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 $21.00
    Lite-On IHAS324 24x DVDRW $85.00
    Western Digital WD Blue 1TB WD10EZEX $179.00
    Plextor PX-256M5S 256GB SSD $419.00
    Gigabyte GeForce GTX 670 WF2 2GB

    Total: $1,465.97 inc. GST $199.00
BenQ RL2450H 24in LED Widescreen Gaming Monitor $99.00
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit with SP1 OEM
  7. Well, in the end, the decision is yours. All the best
  8. I'm changing my ram to this one CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Low Profile Desktop Memory Model CML8GX3M2A1600C9, any recommendations for mobo's. Things im looking in mobo, great sound, sli/crossfire, z77 chipset and was looking at only rog mobo's but open to suggestions.
