A 6870 cannot be used with a laptop.

Exactly what the poster above said. HD 6870 alone is probably as long and twice as thick as your laptop.

in order to use a gpu for a laptop, you will have to make a special DIY project. its costly though

A graphics "card" in a laptop is a chip soldered on the motherboard. It cannot be upgraded.

Ok, well a few high end specialty built gaming laptops can be upgraded but as far as I know Toshiba does not make one.

Every laptop comes with an integrated GPU, HD 6870 is only design for desktop computers not for laptops.

You can't install another graphics card to a laptop. With a desktop that would be possible. But in a laptop, the graphics chip is soldered to the motherboard.

lower end laptops generally do not have the ability to have gpus changed. its only found usually in higher up models on laptops that could have been customized from purchase. Laptops are generally a 1 time buy and thats what you get(aside of changing memory/storage and occasionally CPU)
