Cpu shutdowns often

Hi!
Ma cpu shutdowns often and i cant switch it on until processor temp reduces. i have claimed warranty for both motherboard as well as processor and got new for first 2 weeks it went well but still it happens again and again, now even if i play any movie also it shutdowns often..

ASUS M5A97 Motherboard r2
Amd phenom ii x6 1090t
2*4 gb transcend ram

If some one know the reason, temmi soon, it will be helpful..

I sounds like it is overheating. First think I would do is download HWMonitor and check your temps. You can also go into the BIOS and check your temps there and compare the results. I would also get a can of compressed air and dust out everything. Blow out the intake fan and exaust fan. Blow out the CPU fan and heatsink and I would also re-apply thermal paste.
