Lexmark x4650 net 2 0 error message

Dear Customer Service. . .

I have had the 5600 for about 2 years and still have not been able to use it without problems. I need to scan documents and keep getting the error message Microsoft.NET Framework 2.0 is required to continue.

I have tried to download 2.0 but each attempt is unsuccessful. Very frustrated. Can you help???

Hi,

this is not Lexmark customer service. But there should be a solution to your issue. You don't need .net 2.0

What you need is the latest drivers from Lexmark. Check here http://support.lexmark.com:80/lexmark/index?page=downloadFile&productCode=LEXMARK_X4650&locale=en&segment=SUPPORT&osCats=Windows+7+%2832-bit%29%2C+%3Cwbr%3EWindows+Vista+%2832-bit%29%2C+%3Cwbr%3EWindows+XP+%2832-bit%29%2C+%3Cwbr%3EWindows+2000&oslocale=en_US&osVendor=MICROSOFT&actp=CONTENT&userlocale=EN_US&id=DR2728

That should be the right driver for Windows 7 32 bit.

Please download and install the printer driver from the Lexmark website.

Please visit the Lexmark website to download and install the Lexmark 5600 Series Printer Driver on your computer. Go to Lexmark SELECT A PRODUCT PAGE. Type your exact model number (e.g. X5660) and hit SELECT. On the next page, select your operating system > click on "FILTER" > click on the driver under Recommended Downloads > download and execute the file. Simply follow the instructions on your computer screen to complete the installation.

Then try to scan or print again to verify that the problem is fixed.
