Help me decide if my GTX 670 FTW is defective

So I recently got the courage to finally build my own system. Everything has been going great except I noticed occasional hitching during games like Skyrim, Shogun 2 and the Witcher so I decided to run a 3dMark 11 test and I got what apparently is a very low score for the specs that I have. My score was P7732. My bios and drivers are up to date and it even tells me that "It looks like your PC should score better." and on that link it tells me that my gpu is not performing well. So, I don't think it's a CPU issue.

Is there anything that I could be doing wrong? I will be buying better case fans soon to try to see if the temps are getting too hot, but I really doubt thats the case.

Here is the link to my test result

I would hate to have to return the card. I'm not sure I even can since I live in Singapore and I bought it on my trip to the US :(

Here is my specs to my computer. Hopefully you guys can help me out and pin point the problem.

I have the same CPU and GPU and my score is P8506. Do you have the integrated video card enabled? If yes, disable it. If Virtu is enabled, then disable it.
Try also to disable VSync.
Stop any software which is not required to run during the benchmark: Antivirus, media players, skype and so on.
