Solution
Yes, Enabling the secondary monitor is a windows function. You need to be booted up (monitor connected via VGA) and then enable the second monitor via Catalyst Control Center.

I have the X800 XT agp and I'm using the right break out box
and no I did not enable a secondary monitor, I did not see any display when I booted so I rebooted with a vga monitor
I'm guessing it only working once windows is loaded?

thanks

I wanted to just use rca and no vga as I'm going to be using the system places where I will not have vga :??:
but I'm sure I can set it up to boot and switch over or something
thanks, I'll give it ago
