Loaded drivers. Connected phone (6100) via cable (USB). loaded
software. only thing that can find the phone is phone editor and then
only sometimes. Want to transfer files (midi) but it spends its time
searching for anything on the phone ;-( and never finding anything.

what do I do now?

Upgrade to 6.4

When installing, make sure that any registry monitoring software you are
running is turned off.

Completely uninstall the previously installed version as well, as well as
all registry entries. Scratch around the Nokia site, they have a utility
for this somewhere; sorry couldn't just lay my hands on it right now.
