[ANTEC 200 ATX CASE] **DEAD** is it PSU or FRONT-PANEL CONNECTIONS?

I've just eliminated every connection possibility with my motherboard, and now I'm down to one of two reasons why pressing the power button on my new build is meaningless:
■The SYSTEM HEADER leads (Power Switch, etc.) that came with my ANTEC 200 case are bad; or
■The brand new COOLER MASTER SILENT-PRO 600 is D.O.A. and needs to be returned.
Thoughts? Thanks guys.

Check that you have both leads from the psu plugged in to the motherboard .

You can check the front panel connectors by disconnecting them from the motherboard . Then try starting the pc with the tip of a screwdriver across the two pins that should connect to the front panel power switch . Just touch it briefly and remove .
If the pc boots you know the power switch is the problem
