Microphone Not Detected,But I Am Hearing It Out Of My Speakers

Ok so this all started when i was playing CoD4,there was a bug with Windows 7,so i had to play the game with my mic plugged in.After i uninstalled the game i noticed something weird,my microphone was not detected,and i am hearing it trough my speakers,WTF.I didn't even enable that option in the controll pannel.
NOTICE: ALL OF MY DRIVERS ARE UP TO DATE AND NOTHING IS WRONG WITH MY MOTHERBOARD'S PLUG BECAUSE THE MOTHERBOARD IS NEW.
