Hey,

As title states. I'm wanting to upgrade my PC. Built it last year and it's been solid so far. Since then I've begun streaming games that I play. Where performance starts to dip. To help with the performance dips I'm a bit unsure what I should upgrade to up the performance. Budget wise I'd like to stay around $700~800 or so.

My current specs are:

CPU: 3.20 GHz AMD Phenom II X4 955 (Not OC'd)

GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 6870 1gb

Mobo: BIOSTAR Group A870U3

PSU: Seventeam V-Force 750w

RAM: G.Skill Sniper 8gb (2 x 4gb)

HD: Western Digital 500gb (x2)

As for games that I play while streaming -

League of Legends
Starcraft 2
Counter Strike: GO
DotA2
Borderlands 2

Only if you want the intel or you want to spend the money you need to update your PC.

I recommend you check the internet speed, you need high speed internet to play online games. And maybe OC your CUP and add the SSD for OS/games (streaming software on the other HDD) too.

I don't have any affinity towards Intel or AMD -- same for AMD / Nvidia.

Upload speed isn't much of an issue. The performance dips are in the range of going below 20. I've checked the temps on the GPU/CPU to make sure that wasn't the cause of anything. Under load GPU sits around 50c -- CPU 40~45c
