There isnt really. Actually you can do that alot better for that price.

Get a better power supply is what I would recommend.

Buy a new power supply.Most Psu that come with case isnt good at all.

Not sure what you wanted to know. If you are very cost sensitive you can get the same type of equipement with less control over parts and bios options by buying a manufacturer refurb server from an auction site like UBID (google it). My last 6 computers were purchased this way. They cost less than equiv parts and came with valid windows license and DVD decoder.

If your point is that you can buy quality parts that you choose and build a system at better than name brand server retail prices you are correct.

Agree with comments about making sure that the PSU that came with the case is a good one, or your could end up fighting really nasty instability problems. If you buy a case w/o a PSU then a good psu (e.g. antec vp-450) is pretty cheap.
