I was just wondering if the Audigy X-Gamer supports 4 speakers. And if not do any besides the Platinum because thats a bit out of my price range right now. Thank you for any help.

The OEM one supports 4 speakers and so does the X-Gamer.

This card might be more in your price range and supports 6 speakers

The Santa Cruz is a great card. I need to buy a Turtle Beach so I can have some first-hand experience with their products.
The Hercules Game Theater XP is basically the same card with more features. ~$100
Just so you know...

Correct me if I'm wrong...after reading the SB Audigy review on this site, there are 3 outputs:
* 2 analog outputs for 4 speakers
* 1 digital/analog output for a 5th speaker/subwoofer (??)

This being the case, can I send the outputs to my Hifi (which has 5.1 channel input but no digital decoder) to watch DVDs?

Has anyone tried it?
