Cpu bottleneck Ati hd 7850

Hello to everyone!

I have a quick question for you.
Currently,i have this config:

Amd phenom x3 8650 2,3ghz
Ati XFX radeon 4850
3 gb of HyperX memory dual channel DDR2 800mhz
Apevia 500watts psu
Asrock N68C-S UCC(AM3 ready and DDR3 1600 ready)

My question is if i buy an XFX hd 7850 1Gb and 4gigabytes of DDR3 Corsair Vengeance still my phenom would slow down that much the gpu?

Based on Tom's Hardware's Gaming CPU Hierarchy Chart, the CPU is quite weak for gaming nowadays. I imagine it'll bottleneck the 7850 substantially in most games.

That would definetely bottle neck the CPU. I would upgrade to a newer CPU for sure. A nice Phenom II X6 would make quite a nice difference.
