Battlefield 3 specifically favours nVidia graphics. What is you budget for those components and where are you (country), and can possibly come up with something better.
I take it you already have monitor & other stuff. What is resolution of your monitor.

the budget is $600 but i'm trying to keep as low as i can
the resolution is 1366x768
also, i plan on upgrading in the future

You can do a better build than that for $600

I don't know if you need Windows or not, but here's what I got for both.

thanks a lot i will look into, i still want to know if my build is good enough for battlefield 3 ultra at least 40 fps

No, your build might not pull ultra. The 6950 is fast (I had one) and it ran it on ultra.

BUT your resolution on your monitor is low, meaning you are going to end up having a CPU bottleneck since the A6 is not very quick.

That is why I listed quicker Intel processors to get the job done in my 2 builds.

To really handle Ultra at 1920x1080, you need at least GTX660Ti, which is outside your budget. The GTX 660 is the card that comes nearest, for BF3. You would have to use an i3, which means foregoing overclocking, to get to around $600, assumig you don't need OS, as well. If you need OS, you'd be around the $700 mark.
With i3-3220 + GTX 660 @ 1920x1080 Ultra FXAA-high you'd get around 70fps average. It's only the highest settings, you might struggle with. Will that do you?

Try this:

CPU: Intel i3-3220 @ $129.99 from Newegg
Mobo: ASRock Z75 Pro3 @ $84.99 from Newegg
Memory: Crucial Ballistix Sport 4GB(2x2GB) 1600MHz DDR3 @ $24.99 from Newegg
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB 7200rpm @ $58.88 from NCIX
Case: NZXT Gamma Cl Bl @ $39.99 from Newegg
PSU: Corsair CX500 @ $39.99 from Newegg
Opt Dr: Lite-On iHAS224-06 @ $19.99 from SuperBiis
GPU: MSI GTX660 2GB @ $219.99 from Newegg

That comes to $619
There are things it would be nice to have better, like RAM and faster storage, but that's the nearest I could get to true ultra, without going well over budget, and there are ways to upgrade, as and when you can.
