Can anyone please tell me what cpu cooler i can use on my asrock z77 extreme4 lga1155 mobo that won't block the dimm slots? the ram i'm using are the gskill ripjaws 2x8 and i will be upgrading to 4x8 eventually.

Thanks to those that help {=^.^=}

Solution
I am using a Coolermaster Hyper 212 with my ripjaws. You have to move the fan up a little to swap ram, but it just slides in a slot so it is a tool free process.

Like phate1337 said, go for an all in one water cooler.
This way you're not compromising on cooling performance.
This one is really good and it's also got a very nice rebate.

He is better off with a H80i if he can spring for it, the corsair link software has excellent control and is vastly better, if not, i'd vote for a H60 over the thermaltake every time.

Hello mate.

You would want a closed liquid looped cooler.

http://www.decryptedtech.com/enthusiast-peripherals/cooler-master-seidon-120m-all-in-one-water-cooler-review/Page-4.html - Cooler Master Seidon 120M is a very small cooler and won't block anything in your case, I assure you.

As you can see the Cooler Master Seidon takes on the Corsair H70, which ofc is better than the H60 and the Thermaltake water perform 2.0. The water performer 2 is more expensive and the Seidon 120M beats it. The H70 is a little ahead the Seidon 120M by 1-3 celsius, the price however is a way higher.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103179 - Only 69.99$ It's a bargin.

Thanks for the great advice, i was trying to stay away from water coolers just in case something leaks, so i was wanting to stay with an after market heat sink....but the cooler master hyper 212 evo isn't very expensive, so its not too much of a loss i suppose if it takes up too much space and i have to go the hydro route.
