So I at the moment have an AMD 4450e 2.3ghz :L , its been pretty good but as of now, new games are mostly barely running on minimum settings. just I have been trying to get into using a lot of production software. PS, Cin4D, Sony Vegas etc. Its not cutting it, I realise I need a new CPU, it's nothing else my graphics card is a GTX 560ti. The CPU and motherboard came with the original computer so i will have to buy windows as well.

CPU - FX 6300 or like an I3 3220, just ideas
Motherboard - No Idea what to look for
RAM - 8Gb more mhz the better?
Windows - 7 or 8?

Hopefully not more than £300 - £350 for the lot, I would like some money for a hardrive as well as I bet you can guess how much space videos and cinema 4D files take up.

THanks in advance

This would work well I think http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/DxfI I included ram as I am unsure if you have DDR2 or DDR3 - still leaves some for a HDD or an SSD for OS (that's an idea).
Hope it helps

Mainly for the 6 cores which will be useful in doing production work - no help really in gaming. The 2 virtual cores that hyper-threading in the i3 adds aren't quite as good as the 6 cores running production. If your concern was gaming only, I'd probably recommend the i3.

AMD is good for budget. But if you want anything with real oompf in the >$200 price range, Intel is ALWAYS better.
