Hp pavilion g series 1139tx notebook dedicated graphics problem

Hello,
I have a hp pavilion g6 1139tx notebook which has a AMD Radeon HD 6470M (1 GB DDR3 dedicated) graphics card. I bought it about 5 month ago but still couldn’t use the dedicated graphics. I use the Catalyst Control center for choosing the application I want to use for high performance..Though I select high Performance mode for the selected program it works on normal intel hd graphic. I search on google about this problem and found lot of people has same problem. They also couldn’t use dedicated graphic. Recently I installed Photoshop cs6 trial version when I go the Edit>Preferences>Performance and I do not find the radeon graphics only it shows the intel hd graphic. I am really upset about it Can you please help me solving my problem.
