PC Crashing Problems

Hi in the last month or so I have built a pc. When playing games such as Blacklight retribution and diablo 3 my computer has crashed. I have found that the more performance intense the game is the faster it crashes for example I can play diablo 3 for like 3 hours where as I can play blacklight for like 10 minutes. Which brings me to the conclusion that it is GPU related.

My PC Specs are:

Intel i5 3450
AMD Radeon 7850 HD Gigabyte OC
Corsair 600W Power supply
8GB RAM
Asus p8h77-v le mobo

What I have done to try and fix it:

Installed latest drivers/bios
Reinstalled OS
Memory Test
Also got programs which monitor temperature and I don't think that anything seems abnormal

This is really bugging me as this pc is capable of playing bf3 and I have ran out of things to do :S

I also have windows 7 OS and a 500GB harddrive

Check the temp of the CPU, and do you disable the on-board GPU form intel ?

I checked CPU temperature and its 40 C idle and when gaming like 60, and what do you mean about the second part? could you please explain

I also should of mentioned that i sometimes get grey lines up and down the screen aswell as the sound looping what I last heard

The i5-3450 has the Integrated Graphics ( Intel HD Graphics 2500 ), some time if you don't disable it in the BIOS. It can be the problem.

Or you can try to remove the HD 7850 and use the on-borad GPU to see run the game.
