i am looking to upgrade my system. here is my current system.

MOBO: biostar ta 790gx128m
CPU: Phenom ii x4 945
RAM:8 gigs ddr2 corsair dom
VIDEO: sapphire hd 6850
PSU: OCZ ZT 650 watt

i have about 200 to spend and looking for an upgrade. i am reallly leaning towards a new video card. specifically the gtx 660 from evga. but do i need a video card upgrade? is it worth it at this point? what else could i be getting?

Well it is your decision if you need a new video card. But in general that seems like the best decision. For about 200 it is arguable though. If you do get a new gpu I would go with a 7850 for $180-$200 or I would go with the 660 from evga.

hey guys thanks for the input :) well i am always playing full 1080p and try to get the best framerate but also best settings. i was thinking about a new cpu/ mobo upgrade but decided not to cuz most games barely use the cpu anyway. i know gw2 does but i dont have issues with that. the gtx 660 from evga is $230 on newegg which is fine for me. will my cpu hold back that card? how much better is the 660 than my 6850

hey thanks alot. thats the answer i was lookin for. i needed to replace my gpu actually because it doesnt work with my mobo too well. it spins up really fast on boot if the computer loses power and i have to turn the power switch off and bac on to get it to boot. i popped a friends 670 in and it spun fast for a sec then booted up fine.
