looks good to me, if you play bf3 alot or any other nvidia favored games i would get a gtx 660ti

get the asus z77-v LK motherboard instead.
get the antec 302 case instead of the 912. better cabling and USB 3
xfx has a 7870 for 229.99 after MIR
seagate barracuda 1tb 64mb is faster and cheaper. reliabilty really depends. i had no problems with seagate but problems with WD

seagate barracuda 1tb 64mb is faster and cheaper. reliabilty really depends. i had no problems with seagate but problems with WD

I already got the case, so will the usb 3.0 header will be a problem. is there a mobo without it that can overclock. ill get that hdd and gpu. thanks

Isn't that Patriot Intel Extreme Masters RAM like $30 after MIR?
Antec 302 or Antec One are nice cases for low cost.
TBH if you already have an optical drive there is no reason to buy one. In fact, if you have a COMPUTER there is no reason to buy one because you can put Windows 7 on a USB and have it install from that.

there are usb3 to usb2 adaptors readily avaliable. super cheap.

Gigabyte GA-Z77X-D3H ATX LGA1155 Motherboard has an onboard USB 3.0 header, but the Cooler Master HAF 912 ATX Mid Tower Case does not have front panel USB 3.0 ports.
