expected GTX 670 and 680 price drops after 685 release?

Just wondering what price drops people think we could see after the 685 releases, and how long after initial release until the prices settle at their lower point. I've been holding off buying a new card for a long time, running 260s SLI'd since they were a new thing (though transported into a newer system), but I think this will finally be a suitable time for me to upgrade the gfx. I'm looking for advice so that I don't jump the gun and throw away $50+ on a premature buy with an inevitable price drop so close on the horizon.

Thanks,

- D

Oh, I guess I've been out of the loop for a bit. Well... is there an expected release for the 700 series? I guess I'm going to be waiting a while longer now. Damnit! lol

It sure was a pervasive one though. I guess I'm gonna pick up a 670 in a month or so then (still the best price/performance ratio?). No other anticipated impacts on the pricing in that time?

Which are superior makes of the 670 to look for?

I'm thinking of the 670 to replace my 560Ti. Hoping it will fit in the roswell challenger, it should considering Tom's had a review of that case with a card that was 10.5 inches.

Any ideas on when price will drop on the 670?

The price of evga's gtx 680s are at $469.99 right now on Newegg. Makes me think something new is about to launch. Whats up with the price drop? Should i buy now or wait? I think we all have that question.
