Hi everyone,
Just a quick question. Are the below specs good for gaming? I can build the pc for about £800 including windows 7 and a monitor.
i5 3570k
ASRock extreme4 z77
Sapphire Radeon HD 7870 OC edition 2gb
8gb Corsair Vengeance
Cooler Master hyper 212 EVO
Antec three hundred two
XFX 850w Pro core edition western digital caviar green 1tb HDD
LiteOnIHas disk drive

Thanks :)

The Antec Three Hundred is the case I would recommend, not the 2. I don't think there is a difference except that the price is higher.

the build will work overall fine. if theres anything you need to change though, its:

a) if the ram is the high profile one, change it
b) PSU would be overage amount, even if you crossfired, you'd still have alot of room left.
c) better hope that hdd is at least the 7200 rpm variant WD green drive. or expect slow loading screens.

Okay, I will change the Case.
The ram isnt high profile
Its only an extra £5 for the extra 100 watts
Yeah, its a 7200 rpm version.
Any ideas of FPS on Games like Crysis, Battlefield 3 and Just Casue 2?
Thanks

you might want to stick with the antec three hundred two, it has usb 3 and all that stuff. in bf3 you will probly get around 40-50 fps on ultra
