Are things broken?

Hi all, first build noob here

I put everything together as carefully as I could (grounded and everything) but I'm worried that something might have broke.

So I'm wondering if I short circuit stuff or static electricity some of it, will there be a visible damage either at the time (sparks, jolt I can feel) or after (burns, broken bits)?

no due to a PSU issue that will be fixed at some point...

wondering about this as a general rule as much as anything. Basically would I usually be able to tell if something died

Honestly you're probably fine. What was wrong with the PSU though?

I was being stupid and bought the PSU in China to save money.... turns out the thing only takes 200v-240v

I am in Canada with 120v in my outlets XD

I hope you bought a good quality power supply :/

good quality? The one I got was the antec 550p v2, why? Could that break anything?

I ll be careful getting a new one though....

That's a good power supply.

Not all power supplies are made with the same quality if you know what I mean.
