Approximate Purchase Date: will purchase as soon as i have the right build

Budget Range: (e.g.: 300-400) $500.00 for parts shipping separate.

System Usage from Most to Least Important: gaming, photoshop, movies

Are you buying a monitor: No

Parts to Upgrade: (e.g.: CPU, mobo, RAM) no parts to upgrade with.

Do you need to buy OS: No

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg

Location: Pittsburgh, PA usa

Parts Preferences: would like intel cpu and maybe nvidia for video

Overclocking: No

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe

Your Monitor Resolution:1440x900,

Additional Comments: should i consider liquid cooling at some point if doesnt fit current budget?

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: current computer way out of date time to build a new one.

Here is a great start and the one I use for new builds for my customers who dont want to spend alot.

The last build i just did for a friend had an i5 2310, gtx 560ti, and kept the rest the same. Although a 500w PSU might be ideal i kept the 450w from this build. As you can guess I went a little over the 500 even after rebates and instant discounts.

At your monitor resolution and 560ti might be overkill, maybe a gtx 650 or 660 would fit you better since you said you wanted an nvidia card.
