hi,

i've a sim card, which hadn't been used for few month, and i forgot the
pin code. the sim is locked. but i've the puk1 code. can i unlock the sim
and change the pin code with knowing the puk only?

Hi Homer,

Yes, have a look in your phones manual.

Generally after the simcard pin has been incorrectly entered 3 times the sim
is locked, then you have 10 attempts to enter the PUK code.

That's what the PUK code is for. If you've got the PUK you can reset
the PIN on the SIM.

.... Just enter some random number when it asks for the PIN code three times,
then enter the PUK when asked.
You should then be asked to enter a new PIN code.
