I locked a core on my processor?

So I have Phenom II 965 (3.4)
and a Biostar A770E3 mobo.

For the past 2 years I've watched a query pop up on start-up and I just got curious today.

"Hit f3 or f4 for Bio-Unlocking"

well, I did it, wondering if I would unlock anything, I opened CPU-Z to find "3 Threads 3 Cores"

So I'm down to a triple core processor?

How can I fix this? My keyboard no longer allows input to enter BIOS setup after that.

try to clear the CMOS (check your mobo manual to know what jumper to use)

Enable the USB keyboard option in bios to regain access

It seems that you have a 3 core phenom X3 with a motherboard that support unloc of the 4th core... Make sure its really a 965 and not a X3 xxx...
