RAM overclock holds back CPU??

When I overclocked my Ram to 1600MHZ (My motherboard supports 1600, and my RAM can go up to 1800Mhz, so im assuming its safe) anyway when I overclocked my RAM something in my bios (I think it was called BCLK) went up by 0.01 (not much but weird) and my windows 8 experience index said that my prosesor max frequency is 3.3GHz (normaly 3.6GHz) I dont know whats going on. PLease Help!!

0.01 increase on bclk is nothing to worry about

and i wouldnt worry too much about windows 8 experience index

it says my cpu is 3.4ghz when its overclocked to 5ghz

use cpuz to see what speed your cpu is when under load
