Dell E2209Wc Monitor stuck in standby

I have ruled out anything to do with the tower since I have switched monitors and everything works fine. I have hooked my monitor to another tower and still will not come out of standby. I have tried VGA, DVI-D and HDMI connections on three different towers all with the same result. I am still stuck with a blue power light flashing. Also when I changed from tower to tower I changed power cords and power locations as to eliminate a power issue on a certain plug in or out let. I have even go straight to the wall. Any idea?

I believe the monitor just bit the dust. Sounds to me like you need another one. Sorry.
