AMD Setup installer isn't working for me

Hello,
When I installed the Catalyst setup,from here
http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx

I have a ATI Mobility HD Radeon 4200
and they say they moved it to a new family.
And I keep getting errors.When I restart. The installation keeps freezing at the installation of the AMD Control Center. And when I try again I get this installation error in the begin saying A Installation is already in progress and I always get the error everytime it says that. Please help.

Catalyst install is a major pain in the butt. Just load the driver without doing the software install. Extact the files and just point to the new drivers.

Only George Jetson would complain about double clicking an icon and a Next button a few times....

Well,all it says is this


Application Install: install is already running. Complete that installation before continuing.
in a infinite loop.
Serious.

redownload driver, reboot, safe mode, uninstall old driver, reboot and try install again.
