Hi everyone, this is my first post and I'm sorry if I post this in the wrong place. So right now I am running an AMD A6-3600 APU with the integrated graphics. I have a 9800GT in my closet, and I might be getting the 6670. By the way I'm about beginner to intermediate in computer stuff so don't call me dumb for asking this or anything. :D

1. off I want to know what kind of discrete graphics card the 6530D would compare to, I did a little research on the Nvidia side and people have been saying it's around a 7900GT/GTX. Can anyone confirm this?

2. How much more performance would I get if I put in a 9800GT(considering that I will get a new psu and case because my current system is 220w and small form factor). Or would my performance stay the same? Would it be bottlenecked? (XFX 9800GT DDR3 512MB)

3. By adding in a 6670, would I get more performance than if I were to put a 9800GT in my system because of hybrid crossfire? How much better would the GDDR5 version compare to the DDR3 version? Oh and would I be able to run a 6670 at all on a power supply of 220W with 16A on the +12 rail? I read some charts and the power consumption ranges from 100 to 200+, it doesn't make sense to me how a video card without a dedicated power plug can consume 200+W.

4. So basically my options are this: upgrade psu and case to use 9800gt, squeeze in 6670 on my 220w psu. If you need any more information, ask me. ;)

The only dumb question is the one that is not asked. I would think that the hybrid crossfire would be more powerful than a 9800gt. You need a 400w PSU to run a 6670 and about the same for the 9800. I would get a PSU, use the 9800 for a while and save money to get a better GFX card. WHat games do you play?

Not very demanding games, League of Legends, Starcraft II, and the Need for Speed Series. And thanks for the quick reply. I think I will ask my friend to get me the antec combo which comes with the 302 case and high current 400w modular psu.
