HDMI Monitor Seup

I'm trying to setup up dual monitors to my windows 7 pc. What I have is a 22" that is connected via DVI and I'm trying to connect a 32" TV via HDMI. The video card is a HIS Radeon HD 6870. I've made sure the HDMI cable is snug in both the pc and tv ports. I checked the input on the TV to make sure that is correct but the computer still doesn't recognize a second monitor. I've tried to dectect the 2nd monitor(TV) and nothing. I clicked in my Radeon settings to check for driver update and it stated I had the latest driver installed

The TV will need to be powered on to be detected, and if you're still not getting any signal, have you tried with a different cable in case yours is bad?
