Hello,

After years of using laptops for several years, I want to build myself a nice new PC for gaming (Battlefield 3), and for making music (Reason). As a side note, I already have an external soundcard (Emu 0404)

I put them together by looking at the recommended/highest rating elements, but I'm only a semi-geek and I don't know too much about hardware. As such, I would like to know :
(i) if anything is missing (do I need a cooler for the processor ? I won't be overclocking)
(ii) if any of the elements are "overkill" compared to my needs (e.g. the motherboard/screen)
(iii) if all these elements are compatible
(iv) if, as a computer building newbie, any of these elements will be pose problems for me when I put it all together

Thanks in advance for your help :)

Here is a screenshot of my components :

You'll be losing very little in performance with the cpu/mobo change and gain a lot in performance with the gtx 670.
