Nvidia 670 vs 680 vs 690

Can anyone tell me what the improvement in performance is between the Nvidia 680 and 690? It appears the 690 (if you can get it) is roughly twice as expensive. Thanks.

GTX 690 is basically two GTX 680s sticked together on one card, that's why it's twice as expensive. As for performance, read this review:

It depends on your resolution, higher resolutions will benefit more, and your CPU setup. Less powerful CPU's will bottleneck the GTX 690 and reduce the relative performance increase.
