New build wont post

I just built a new computer all its missing is a hard drive. I'm sure i have all the right things plugged in but all it does turn the fans and the lights come on. my build is

Boot with one memory stick?
Any beeps?
Very old board with bios prior 0402?
Clear CMOS?

The mobo i got has a port for my monitor. are you saying the the cpu i got makes it so that port dont work? and theres 2 beeps even with a flash drive attached
