I am trying to do my first build and I think I found my CPU I want, an AMD FX-8350 Vishera 4.0GHz (4.2GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 125W Eight-Core Desktop Processor FD8350FRHKBOX. Now how do I decide on a motherboard for this? I am a gamer but I dont want to break the bank. $100-$200 for a motherboard or is my price too low for quality.

Thanks community!

The best am3+ board is only $220 thats the crosshair V and a great overclockers board, can get a asus sabertooth, great quality, a asrock fatality which is good for overclocking, a msi gd80, gigabyte dont remember model but def 990fx if ur budget is $100 to $200. I would go asus as i prefer them, there quality is great, but heard good things from almost every top end 990fx board. Everyone beside the crosshair V is under $200

At $100 and a good overclocker is a gigabyte 970 ud3, but for ur budget id at least go 990fx. If the board is good for overclocking, it'll usually be good quality, as boards that dont overclock so well tend to have less quality components, etc. If quality is ur issue go sabertooth, has a 5year warranty, the TUF Components, but id have to say any of the boards around $150+ will have great quality
