Hey all. My last thread asked about the same thing, but since i actually chose a different card, i wanted to confirm

Would this card fit in my case? I'm more scared about length than width since i've been told i can handle dual slots.

Card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Hi

I think it should fit quite good but you will never be able to power it up with a PSU of just 250W.

Hope this helps!

The specs for that card say it is 9.37" long. Open your case and measure from the expansion slot cover to any obstruction in your case the card would possibly hit. Like a drive bay.

Hiya. This is my power supply. Will it work, and is it compatible with the card?

Corsair Gaming Series 600-Watt 80 Plus Certified Power Supply Compatible with Intel and AMD Platforms - CMPSU-600G" http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-600-Watt-Certified-Compat...

Thanks in advance and sorry for any confusion.

EDIT: Took a quick glance and read dimensions, it appears to be only about an inch and a half longer than my old gt 545

Nothing seems to be in the way, Thanks a ton, sorry for being incompetent :p

Your power supply should work fine with that card and it should fit fine. And you weren't at all incompetent. I've had much much worse.

I have an add-on question, The card says it needs two supplementary 6 pin adaptors. Does my power supply have those already or do i have to seperately buy them?

My first time installing the thing myself, Usually had geeksquad do it until i realised just how fail they are and cut all ties.

You're good to go. Swap out the PSU and install the card and its driver. (If you have another discrete card installed now, uninstall the driver for it, shut down, and remove the old card.)
