Passive 6570 or Fan Cooled?

Is the 6570 a hot card? I've never had a passive video card so I can't decide on which to get a friend. The passive is cheaper bu I'm worried that the second he boots it up, it'll fry.

Yes buy the card with cooling because you can do overclocking later....I remember my previous HD 4350 had passive cooling (silent) and when I overclocked it 20MHz it had broke
