Question for new case

I m looking to buy a pc case.
Should I search only for cases with psu placed down?
IF I get a case with psu down, fan must be on or down?

I only connect a 70W videocard, a soundcard, a dvd and an ssd, do you have something really silent to suggest me?

  1. This is incorrect. If the case has a bottom PSU then it should have a grate for air flow and the fan should be pointed down. This is common info that can be found anywhere. Look at pictures of peoples builds in the systems section. Never put a bottom PSU fan-up because it will suck up hot air from the case and not cool air from under the case.
  2. My friend has a LIAN LI PC-7FN with psu placed down, and fan is up by default. There is no any grate in the bottom.
Maybe because this case is all aluminum?

I m looking to buy a new case. I ll only connect a small videocard, a dvd and an ssd. Both cpu & vga have big fanless heatsinks.
Should I search only for cases with bottom placed psu?
Maybe is better psu be in top, so that receive heat from cpu and exhaust it?

Dont you think that this case is "too much" for my system?
But must take a 160mm cpu heatsink.

Now that I see it, then yeah. Try this one; http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129042

Well, this one looks like lame :D
Holes in the roof and in the side. No filters. No space behind mobo's tray for the cables.
I have same psu as yours, I recently bought a Corsair CX430, modular.
So I use only the two mobo's cables, a sata cable for dvd, and a sata one for ssd. Maybe I dont need to pass them behind mobo?

What do u think about this case, its a CoolerMaster Elite 330U with a side window.
