Can Gainward GT 240 work with a Pentium D925

I have an old computer with a Pentium D925@3.0 GHz and a 300W PSU, yet the Gainward GT 240 requires a C2D or equal. Some people said it would work, and I've seen people here use GT 240s on PCs with the same CPU and PSU. So, help!

Anyway, it will work as long as you have PCI express x16 slot in your motherboard, but since you never told me what motherboard it was, I cannot tell you whether you have it.

Source is Gainward's site. The mobo has a PCI-E x16 slot, but IDK the model, it comes with the Dell OptiPlex 745.
