Asus GTX 670 Direct CU II 2GB

I am looking to upgrade my gfx card (currently GTX 285) to the GTX 670 but I am unsure about whether my PC will handle it. I am running an i7 920 @ 3.8ghz, 6GB ram and is PCI 2.0.

Any help is appreciated before I upgrade

You're good to go. There should be no bottleneck, cpu is fine and pci-e 2.0 x16 (or even x8) is enough.

Its hes running a GTX285 now, he will have no issues running a GTX670, since it consumes less power over all.

I have a Corsair 650TX so hopefully that should do the job. Thanks for the replies

That would DEFINITELY do the job. I own that card and I am not 100% satisfied but I guess it is just buyers luck or something since mine is not a good overclocker . The gtx 6xx series are also having fps issues but you are able to play the games, just not always between 50-60 fps and especially bf3 if you play that (yeah even such a high end card). In the end the card is okay, I am able to play my games but it would be better if I could overclock and had not a lot of those fps drops. Nvidia release new drivers now! xD
