Dota 2 budget build

I am looking to build a dota 2 gaming rig from scratch for the first time and I don't have much insight on which hardware to buy. I would like to max everything out and play consistently on 120 fps.

Budget Range: 600-800 after rebates
System Usage from Most to Least Important: dota 2 only

Are you buying a monitor: Yes, 120hz (not looking for 3d)

Parts to Upgrade: n/a

Do you need to buy OS: yes, windows 7

Your Monitor Resolution: would like 1920x1080

Additional Comments: Just need a desktop to play dota 2. I have a laptop I use for work

I've picked out Intel Core i3-2100 3.1GHz Dual-Core Processor for 104.99
(if you know any cheaper processor that can get the job done, please let me know!)

I don't think $800 will be enough for what you want.
A decent 120Hz monitor goes for AT LEAST $250, OS is around $90. That leaves more or less $450 for the actual rig.

All 120Hz monitors are 3D btw.
