Hi all,

Its about time i spent some money and improved the power of my pc. The question is will buying a new graphics card give me the results i want, or do i need a whole new system? The results i want, is at least 60 fps on battlefield 3 on ultra settings at 1080p. Currently i get 25-30. So my current system is.......
Mobo: asus p5k se
Graphics card: Nvidia gtx 275
CPU: Intel core2quad q9400@2.667GHZ
PSU: 650w
RAM: 8gb (4x2) ddr2 800
windows: 7 ultimate 64 bit

any more specs feel free to ask

Solution
well I would just get a new GPU. That is a really good processor. I would think you could stay with that for at least a few more years and just get a 670 or wait for the 660ti to come out.

+1

Wait for the 660ti or get a GTX670.
CPU is still good for another year or so (depending of the games you play, it might be your bottleneck in your system), but that should be your next upgrade.
